Defending Jacob & Wolfwalkers

This is an American crime drama series. A teen was stabbed to death in a park. 14-year-old Jacob goes to the same school and his father Andy is a respected prosecutor who is assigned to the murder. Jacob’s friend accuses him of murder on an online message board. Soon, they found out that a fingerprint lifted from the victim’s sweatshirt is from Jacob. Suddenly, the whole family’s life turned upside down. As they dig down the case, all the evidence is against Jacob. Andy is investigating by himself, hoping to clear his son’s name. Jacob acts like the normal teen that he is. He is troubled, scared, and lacks sympathy. His mother Laurie plays an important role. She’s haunted by flashbacks of Jacob’s childhood and blames herself didn’t consider the possibility that Jacob may be violent. With things going back and forth, Laurie begins to crack under the weight of the case.

Watching this movie is like stepping into a colorful picture book. A young hunter called Robyn yearned to help her father to wipe out the wolfs. She sneaked into the woods, ran into a girl called Mebh, and discovered the secret of wolfwalkers. Robyn helped Mebh with finding her mother and leading the wolf pack to fight back against the humans who were trying to burn down the woods and kill them. This is a moving story.
